Old-internet geek, web designer, occasional artist, yoga teacher, former therapist, goth girl, Lord of the Rings nerd!
i’ve been making websites on and off for years, and this one is my latest: the kind of place online that emo teen me would have absolutely loved, with glitter and gifs everywhere. (hence avalon.gif!)
idk about you, but I miss the old web. I love the maximalism. I love that every site felt different. I loved the slow way you connected with and made online friends through forums and guestbooks. I loved the way websites felt like incredible, immersive worlds that you wanted to live in and explore.
this website is my way of recreating the immersive, choose-your-own-adventure experience of the old web.
I’ve aimed to make this site mobile-friendly. but for a real y2k web experience you’ll want to browse on desktop - you’ll find fun things there that you can’t see on mobile. :)

🖤 I tried to do emo/scene hair for a hot minute back in 2010. Then I got tired of lugging hair spray around in my bag.
🖤 I have a psychology degree and used to work as a therapist for folks with complex trauma.
🖤 I’m more than a little obsessed with Lord of the Rings and I guarantee I can bore you with facts about the history of Middle-earth for literal hours lol.
🖤 I want to see an internet where we’re actually creating as well as consuming - and falling in love with the web again.
